I have always had a camera with me but finally picked up a nice DSLR camera and water housing about two years ago. Initially to capture my kids and our adventures in the warmer waters of Baja, I was instantly hooked with the ability of capturing new angles behind the lens. I have always been a creative soul, as a kid drawing and coloring, tinkering and taking things apart to seesaw they worked, then onto painting in my teens, and now with my current creative interest in photography. I was drawn to the vibrant colors of sunsets and tried to capture those moments between Design and Industry studies and soccer at SFSU. The digital age was in it's infancy then and I fumbled my way through a couple of digital cameras exploring the nuances of disks vs film. After college I moved to Santa Cruz to follow my latest passion…surfing. Here in Santa Cruz, I created Dreamscape, an 18yr old landscape company where my creative energy had yet another outlet. With Dreamscape successfully up and running now, I have been able to share another creative side through Wetfeet photography. Enjoy the rest of this photographic journey with me.
